Islamabad, Pakistan: On the invitation of the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Syed Zulfiqar Bukhari, Director of UKPCCI Syed Siraaj Ahmad visited NUST (National University of Science and Technology), currently ranked one of the leading universities in the world, and top-100 in Asia, to see a few of the domestic, high tech start-ups currently growing in various markets around the world.

Syed Siraaj Ahmad was greeted by Rear Admiral Dr. Nasar Ikram, Pro Rector of NUST’s RIC (Research & Innovation Centre) – where there was a briefing on NUST’s progress, and current areas of opportunity. There was a discussion on commercialising Patent technologies, current silicon valley investments in NUST start-ups, and endowment funds – with a scope to sign an MoU in spearheading NUST research with UK institutions.
