Amjad Khan is a serial entrepreneur, restaurateur, and founder of the largest Asian food franchise in the UK and Europe: Kebabish Original, with over 200 locations and expanding into Africa. Mr Khan has recently opened up another restaurant venture, Kassaba, specialising in Turkish Cuisine. His interests also include a property and petroleum holdings, sitting on the board of AK Petroleum and AK Homes.

Waheed ur Rehman Mian

By profession a lawyer, qualified as a Barrister of Lincoln’s Inn in 1998 and started his legal carrier on 14th August 1998 under the umbrella of Mian Law Associates Ltd as a Managing Director. Since 2003, practising as a Solicitor being a Principal Partner of M-R Solicitors LLP, the firm has attained the status of ABS. Being a professional lawyer, he enjoys unique reputation in Pakistani community. M-R Solicitors LLP deals in different areas of Law including Corporate, Immigration, Family and Property litigation. Mr Mian is extremely passionate in the area of Education and is associated with 2 colleges in London playing central role in the Advisory Boards. He also has business interest in Property Development Company in the UK by the name of Aronex Developments Ltd. Mr Mian is a founder of M-R Foundation, a registered charity in UK and Pakistan, providing education, food, clothing and shelter to the needy people. Built over 50 houses for the flood affected people in the remote areas near Muzzafargarh, Punjab.

Sardar Shafquat Khan

Sardar Shafquat Khan is a prominent established businessman since 1994. He is the Chairman of boutique Finance and Estate Agency; Berkeley Square Capital ltd (London), located in the heart of London Mayfair. He is also a physical commodities trader which includes; Halal meat and poultry, sugar, rice and petroleum oil and Gas Along with this. Sardar Shafquat Khan holds a strong interest in charitable work as well as for the community. He has launched his own charity; SARDAR FOUNDATION which focusses on amending the living conditions and lives of those in his roots, Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. With this motivation he is striving towards building a chain of hospitals throughout Pakistan especially in those areas which lack healthcare facilities.

Amir Khuwaja

Mr Amir Khawaja is a prominent businessman based in Manchester running several companies whilst finding the time to serve the community and further the interests of bilateral trade with Pakistan.
Mr Khuwaja founded Amir Clothing – Several Wholesale units serving a plethora of independent shops and online retailers supplying the latest in fashion from the UK, and Italy. Amir works directly with designers and manufactures to create bespoke styles to ensure his range remains fresh. For knitted garments, Amir has his own factory which produces unique designs that are patent protected. All businesses are being operated with dedication and the utmost integrity.
Amir has a longstanding association with the MQI due to the extensive social work done by him and his family. In 2018 he was elected as President of MQI Manchester and the chapter has seen a phenomenal increase in activity since his appointment.

The Khawaja family have been serving the Rehmania Masjid in Karachi for several decades. Themasjid is also a centre for learning where hundreds of children receive free education. Amir is currently the Vice Chairman for the Trust overseeing all activities and ensuring it continues to work for the community.
Mr Amir also has deep links to the trade and commercial sectors, and was instrumental in re-establishing the Manchester Chapter through his strong links in UK business, international Chambers and the Pakistan Government.
In June 2018 Amir was appointed to several Standing Committees of the FPCCI (The Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry) including, Corporate
Relations, Diplomatic Affairs and China – Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

Sajid has Over 28 years’ experience as entrepreneur and business owner. Expertise in areas ranging from business administration to marketing to recruiting and training sales staff.
Founder of the well-known high street brands such as China Grill, Gourmet of London and Lagatteau Cakes.
A member of The Royal Commonwealth Society , The Royal Society of Arts, as well as holds the position of Treasurer at UKPCCI.
Sajid is also active in charitable work and supports organisations such as Edhi Trust, Shaukat Khanam and Ansar Bernie Trust

Shahid has been in the Satellite Business for over 23 years, he has also been a member for the chamber over 13 years.
Whilst serving as a Director Shahid attended 3 Expos in Pakistan, and held the roles of Treasurer, Chairman of the Board and Vice President.

Shahid Akhtar


Shahid Joined UKPCCI as a board Member in 2017. Has over twenty five years of professional management experience in private and public sector ranging from hands on work at field level to heading multiple administration & financial management portfolios. Shahid is a retired Naval Officer with extensive experience of working with government and international organisations, at strategic and management level. He is a graduate from Pakistan Naval Academy and holds Master Degrees in Economics and Financial Management from Middlesex University Business School. He is entrepreneur with several successful businesses in UK and Pakistan. He is also a Director of Awaz Group of Radios, the largest group of radio stations in Pakistan operating of 23 stations nationwide. Shahid has keen interest in Gas & Petroleum Industry in Pakistan. He owns a Hotel group and a chain of restaurants in London.


Parveez Shafi


Parveez started his first business in 1978 retailing consumer electronics to the trade. In 1985, he joined a large high street retailer ‘Time and Tune ‘to set up their wholesale and export division, and later in 2000 was appointed a Director.
In 2002 started an online / export business specialising in Car Audio Equipment, and later in 2006 sold the business.
2007 went into the real estate renovating properties and selling on.
From 2013 – 2015 helped a friend set up a banqueting hall and restaurant with a capacity of over 250 people.
2016 and presently manages their family business of selling and exporting cars worldwide. Has a showroom with stock in excess of 200 vehicles covering 4 Acres of land in Bedfordshire, which is trading under the name of A6 Motors
Active in charitable work, with Shahid Afridi foundation and a Trustee for Al-Mudassar Trust.

Rashad was appointed the role of Director with UKPCCI IN August 2017.
He came to the UK in 2001, started his business as Retailer in Grocery and now has a chain of Supermarkets.
Rashad also does charitable work and for the past 9 years has been a Trustee Jama Masjid Islamic Centre in Hounslow.

Faisal Khwaja


Self made & motivated young man started professional career in UK in 2000.
From the last under 19 years of hard work of days and nights established himself in real estates business, started as mortgage advisor & estate management company named Fais Mortgages limited later converted into FML Estates Ltd since 2003.
2015 established in fast food business in retails named Chickys limited as well as branches in Pakistan with the different brand named called Caffe Royale London.
In Pakistan has a farm Housing project situated in Lahore at Bedian Road developing farm houses on 100 acre peace of land named “LAHORE GREENZ”.

He has been contracting since long with Shell and Nestle in Pakistan where provide logistics of their goods in the different cities of Pakistan.

Fariha Quddus

With a business degree and experience in working in a number of industries across various sectors including education, healthcare, marketing and social development projects – Fariha has worked in the private sector, public sector and non-governmental organisations including United Nations Office of Drug Control and UK Department of Health. She is currently teaching Business and Economics at higher education institutes across London.

Fariha has always been passionate about contributing to the community and works on projects for business and economic development, which has led to her appointment as a director at the UKPCCI to further promote commercial opportunities between the UK and Pakistan.

Mr Ishtiaq Ahmed is a prolific entrepreneur involved in several businesses, trade organisations and philanthropic activities.

UniLogo provide Uniforms and Logos throughout the UK. The client portfolio consists of over 10,000 schools and hundreds of other businesses growing on a daily basis. In addition to Local UK production, garments are sourced from Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Turkey and Morocco. Most consumables are imported from Germany, Italy and Spain to maintain consistency and quality.
We are unique in our industry in that we provide a complete uniform service, promotional clothing or workwear. Processes include Embroidery, Full colour digital printing, and Flock welding with many garments specially designed for retrospective framing. Hassan Ashraf

Mr. Hassan is an experienced Strategic Leader with proven track record in developing teams and significant quality improvements leading to swift increases in performance in the education sector. With a background in Sales and Business Development, he was responsible for establishing and running a successful business of WIC since 2010. Mr Hass an role as a Principal at Waltham International College is to have overall responsibility for, and oversight of, all academic and curriculum matters concerning the College, in particular the core educational issues of student performance, teaching and learning, and listening to the student voice. Mr Hassan is also responsible for Procurement, Marketing, Partner & Alliances, Corporate Social Responsibility, Support Services, day to day Human Resources, and Learning and Development.
