Mr. Amir Khawaja is a prominent businessman based in Manchester running several companies whilst finding the time to serve the community and further the interests of bilateral trade with Pakistan.

Mr Khuwaja founded Amir Clothing – Several Wholesale units serving a plethora of independent shops and online retailers supplying the latest in fashion from the UK, and Italy. Amir works directly with designers and manufacturers to create bespoke styles to ensure his range remains fresh. For knitted garments, Amir has his own factory which produces unique designs that are patent protected. All businesses are being operated with dedication and the utmost integrity. Amir has a longstanding association with the MQI due to the extensive social work done by him and his family. In 2018 he was elected as President of MQI Manchester and the chapter has seen a phenomenal increase in activity since his appointment.

Rashad was appointed the role of Director with UKPCCI IN August 2017.
He came to the UK in 2001, started his business as a Retailer in Grocery, and now has a chain of Supermarkets.
Rashad also does charitable work and for the past 9 years has been a Trustee of Jama Masjid Islamic Centre in Hounslow.

Mr Ishtiaq Ahmed is a prolific entrepreneur involved in several businesses, trade organisations and philanthropic activities.
Businesses UniLogo provide Uniforms and Logos throughout the UK. The client portfolio consists of over 10,000 schools and hundreds of other businesses growing on a daily basis. In addition to Local UK production, garments are sourced from Pakistan, China, Bangladesh, Turkey and Morocco. Most consumables are imported from Germany, Italy and Spain to maintain consistency and quality. Processes include Embroidery, Full colour digital printing, and Flock welding with many garments specially designed for retrospective framing. All of our clothing is sourced ethically ensuring the materials are sustainable and the staff paid a fair wages as we strive to fulfil all aspects of corporate, social and environmental responsibility. We are currently with several manufacturers in developing new fabrics and also techniques for staff to maintain a healthy work life balance.

Director

Maroof Azam Rachyal belonging to a well-known Political & a business family. Who were established in 1954-55 in the United Kingdom and Pakistan as, ‘Rachyal & Co’. Rachyal Co was an import/export and foreign exchange business. At that time, they were one of the major companies to play a role in contributing and in generating foreign exchange for Pakistan in the United Kingdom.
Maroof Azam is currently a Director of the UK Pakistan Chamber of Commerce, and Industry. He has his hand in many businesses, one of which is a ground transportation business, operating from various cities of the UK as a CEO/Director/Shareholder, serving national and international corporate clients by providing a luxury transportation solution. A few more are, property development, Import/export in textile and the food industry.
As an entrepreneur his focus is always on the betterment of the economy of Pakistan and the UK combined. Especially by promoting small businesses who deserve but do not have a way of exposure to the international markets.
He holds a strong interest in Politics and Social work. He launched a charitable organisation as a founding Chairman with over 100 members focusing on the health and education sector in Pakistan, especially upgrading women’s health centres in rural areas of Pakistan.
